The Garden

So our garden didnt do that well, our beans, zucchini, pink banana squash and cucuzzi squash all are growing and doing pretty well. However my brocolli, carrots, basil and cantalope did not grow at all. I went and got 4 tomato plants, lettuce plants and cucumber plants and planted those yesterday. Hopefully since they are already doing pretty good they will turn out well. This is my first time doing a garden and its alot of fun. Just wish it would have turned out a little better, but there is always next year!

My latest craft project

So while at Michael's the other day I got the idea to make these for the girls. They turned out so cute. I have really been into doing crafts lately and was really proud of them. They were pretty cheap to do and didnt take very long.

Our utah vacation

Well our Utah vacation was alot of fun. We got to go to the aquarium, the childrens museum and the zoo. We also got to eat at Olive Garden which is my favorite restaurant, that by the way we don't have in Montana. We also went to the new Deseret Book store at Temple Square. It is HUGE, I could spend so much money there. Kylee ended up getting sick with croup which was not fun. Rudys mom watched her on monday so we could take the girls to the zoo. We got back and I was still pretty worried so we went to the Dr. He was really great. Checked her out and gave us a prescription for some corticosteriods and told us not to give them to her unless she got worse and we really felt like she needed them. Fortunatley she has got better and we didnt have to use them. We also got two books on tape while we were there to listen to on the ride. We got Mormons and Masons, and the Autobiography of Larry H. Miller. They were both really good. I love being on vacation but it is sure nice to be back home.

The gym

So I went to the gym with Rudy yesterday. Its a really nice place and they offer free childcare too. It was the first time I have exercised in a LONG time. It felt so good to actually get of my butt and do something. I did the elliptical, treadmill and bike. I was so surprised at how much I could actually do. I'm thinking about taking a yoga class. I'm really hoping that I can get in shape....having three kids has not been so good for my body.

A fun filled day

Well my day started off pretty bad this morning. I set my alarm for 7 am because we were having a young womens presidency meeting at my house and I needed time to clean. Well apparently in my sleep I turned off my alarm ( don't remember this at all). So I shot up out of bed at 8 and frantically tried to get all my kids dressed and clean the house. Well then I am on the phone and the girls decided to try and hold the hamster we got yesterday. Well he didnt like that very much and got away from them and started running around in the house. Well me and Zoie chased him behind the couch and I finally caught, well then he proceeded to bite me. That was joyous. So there I was googling if hamsters carry rabies...LOL.

But it has actually gotten better. We had our meeting, got alot accomplished. Then I made the girls lunch and we are now watching Monsters Inc. It is On Demand for free so has quickly gotten to be one of there favorites. My plans for the rest of the day are to try and get some laundry done and then go to the gym with Rudy tonight. He has been going for quite some time now and since the baby is 3 months old I can go (they offer free childcare). I don't necessarily want to loose weight so much, I want to get rid of the "baby fat" body.

Plans for the rest of the week:

Friday- More laundry (it never ends), take stuff over to Jamie's for the yard sale on saturday, Zoie's tball game

Saturday- Yard sale and Jamie's, date night with Rudy: planning on going to giant springs state park for a picnic and to look at the falls. I am really hoping that the weather cooperates!!

Sunday- Church then hang out with the fam the rest of the day
